He’s been into professional music for two years now and has produced over five mind blowing singles as a result of hard work and creativity. Songs like feelingyou which featured Khamelion, tonight, to the floor, one more time and mine clearly indicate that, Bradley Barley aside his salient voice is also deep with word creation.
On his latest single called ‘ADDICTION’, the Chinese based Ghanaian singer, Bradley Barley, spoke about a girl who is addicted to him though he is not much into her and on a more classic and an international rhythm, the young talent who is a product of good music gave a clear distinction of how different he is from other crop of musicians.
With this new single, Bradley has shown how matured he is musically and though a Ghanaian, it’s of no wonder how he is being held in high esteem by the Chinese Republic as one of the finest musicians to have ever stepped on their soil. In an interview with Flex newspaper, the young versatile musician explained that, he has been in the game for some time and knows its pros and cons;
“It is a bit difficult doing music in Ghana because everybody is used to these big musicians making it difficult for we the new ones to be recognized but that won’t scare me. I am here for the young people and I will make sure they have their place in the Ghana music industry” Bradley said.
“The annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA’S) should have young talents to be awarded than these same old faces who we always see on our screens picking same award almost every year, we need varieties” he continued. Bradley further continued to say that, his aim is not only to capture the Ghanaian music market but he wants to be mentioned as the world’s most loved musician from Ghana and would need the support of Ghanaians to achieve this. He also called on the Ghanaian journalists to show more concern and interest in the day to day lifestyle of our celebrities;
“We don’t have a lot of paparazzi and due to this, our music industry is not as vibrant as the western world. You will always see photographers at the gates of these western celebrities ready to capture what they wear which on its own is big news but Ghanaians don’t pay much attention to some of these things which makes it difficult to be a celebrity in this part of the world and it is my plan to change it” he stated.
As part of his social responsibility, Bradley recently donated items worth thousands of cedis to the Ada children’s ward in Ada when he was invited to perform during the celebration of the Ada festival. This is actually not Bradley’s first donation to the ward as this happens to be his fourth donation.
‘ADDICTION’ however was produced by ‘DO GOOD’ and it’s currently available on ghanamusic.net and ITUNES. For someone who admires and loves listening to Daddy Lumba, AmakyeDede, KojoAntwi and their likes, Bradley will never cease to surprise and make his fans and country proud as his latest and previous songs have already left reasonable marks on the hearts of his fans and music lovers.
Welcoming his latest single ‘ADDICTION’ will not be an eye opener to our new crop of musicians but a leverage to win back our glory as far as music is concerned. Support good music by downloading ‘ADDICTION’ on ITUNES and ghanamusic.net and thank me later.
